It started as weekly "inquiry" at California Chicken Cafe and has most recently morphed in to Book Club once a month, or so.<br />We are currently reading <span style="font-style:italic;">The Last Girls</span> by Lee Smith. Last month it was <span style="font-style:italic;">Sister of My Heart</span> by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.<br /><br />These "girls" certainly hold a special place in my "heart". Our topics of conversations over the years include (but are not limited to) pedagogy, boys, politics, break-ups, marriages, divorces, kids, miscarriages, vacations, deaths, failures, successes and the housing market.
